Why Every Government Prep List Leaves Out the Guns
What This One's About
The government's official emergency kit is on Ready.gov. Water, food, a radio, a flashlight, a first aid kit, a manual can opener, and a whistle to signal for help. No gun. Not on Ready.gov, not on Britain's list, not on the EU's.
I read about a thousand of your comments on the last two videos, and that was the fight: guns are missing from the government's list. You're right. So here's my answer, and here's what I found when I went looking, including a line in my own state's emergency law that I didn't know was there.
The last two times Americans really needed a gun, the government didn't just leave it off the list. In 2005 it took them. In 2020 it closed the stores. And the thing that actually worries me isn't confiscation. It's the part that doesn't even need a governor.
Whatever isn't in your house before it starts, you're not getting it.
LOOK UP YOUR OWN STATE
- Search your state's name plus "emergency powers firearms." Some states protect your rights in a declared emergency and some don't, and you want to know which one you live in before you need it. Tell me what you find in the comments: your state, and whether your governor has that power.

Where I'm Coming From
"They don't want you to have one" is my opinion, not a quote from any agency. Nothing in this video is legal advice, read your own state's statute and talk to a lawyer in your state if you have a question about it.
